The WYATT SOUNDart Launch at Lydia's Loft. Wyatt is collaborating with 5 fantastic visual artists who are creating a body of work (photography, mixed media, painting) around the new album ‘Hard Road’. Barbara Reimer (photographer), Darcy Beck (Photographer), Patrick Schmidt (Photographer), Jenn Kerr Gaspar (Painter), and  David Grosse (Painter, Mixed Media, Film maker) will premiere their works on March 24th as part of WYATT’s CD Listening Party at Lydia’s Loft. CD Launch Ready to Roll! Thanks to Spiro at Rodeo’s and the fine folks at Jim Beam, we are ready to PARTY as we unleash WYATT’s debut album upon the unsuspecting masses! Wyatt’s debut album Hard Road will be released April 20th & 21st at Rodeo’s in Saskatoon. The album was recorded at ‘The Clubhouse’ in Regina with JUNO winning singer/songwriter Jason Plumb as producer. Jason will be joining us on stage for a few tunes as well!   (If you haven’t checked out Jason’s new album, visit his site to hear some new tracks!  They are awesome!!!) Along with great music there will be prizes, giveaways, drink specials and the makings of a great night or two! Special thanks to MOTHERS MUSIC who has supplied us with a special Yamaha acoustic guitar to give away on Saturday night, and JIM BEAM for their awesome support.

WYATT will be featured nationally on CBC Radio ONE at noon on New Year’s Day as host John Lagimodiere asks if there is any way to make the Holiday Season fresh again? Along with a hilarious interview, John will be playing a couple of tracks off of the Snowed In album and will also be previewing one of the new tracks off of WYATT’s debut album to be released this April. Snowed In has also received provincial airplay on the Rawlco Radio network including C95 in Saskatoon! WYATT (Singer-songwriters Daniel Fortier and Scott Patrick) are re-releasing their Christmas album Snowed In! Recorded in Saskatoon at Seashell Studio in September, Mastered at Audio Art in Saskatoon and Distributed by Indie-Pool, the 8-song CD will be available in Saskatchewan music stores in November 15th. The CD is now available for purchase securely on-line at www.wyattmusic.com! A limited number was made in 2005 (500) and sold over 400 copies in only three and a half weeks! This year, the album will also receive digital distribution through Indie-Pool and songs will be available for individual download or full album download. Read Full Story

DEBUT ALBUM UPDATE and CALL FOR VISUAL ARTISTS!
Well, thanks to Rawlco Radio’s 10K20 program, we are nearing completion of our debut album. Tracking has finished and we are awaiting the results of the mix down which is happening now! We are looking at a launch date to coincide with the JUNO’s in Saskatoon at the end of March 2007. Read Full Story

Things are heating up as we get ready to storm the studio and start recording our debut CD. We are excited to announce that Jason Plumb (The Waltons, Jason Plumb and the Willing) is on board as Producer for the project. We start pre-production in June with tracking set for late July and early August. We have set mid-October as our tentative release time. We also received a boost of private sector funding to support the release. More on that next week when we can officially announce it!
